Our Mission

Clairmont Oaks, Inc., a ministry of the First Baptist Church of Decatur, is a nonprofit, affordable housing and services ministry promoting successful aging in caring communities.

Our Community

At Clairmont Oaks you’re not just getting an apartment home, you’re gaining access to an entire community under one roof, with more amenities, services, activities and shared spaces than you’ve ever had. Our many attractive community rooms “extend” your apartment, providing comfortable places for socializing and making new friends. In fact, every floor has lounge areas to relax and enjoy lots of natural light.

Common Areas

Residents at Clairmont Oaks can enjoy a variety of common areas throughout the building including:

Parlor: Our cozy parlor is the perfect gathering place to visit with friends and family.
Fellowship Hall: We host a variety of events in our Fellowship Hall, such as exercise classes, entertainment programs, Monday Night at the Movies, vesper services and health and wellness programs.
Activity Room: If you love crafts, games or art classes, this is the perfect place. We host parties, card games and much more in our activity room.
Library: Our library is well-stocked with a selection of large-print books and is maintained and operated by our residents.

Hair Salon: Looking to upgrade or refresh your ‘do? Our on-site hair salon is leased and run by a professional cosmetologist and available for all residents.
Fitness Center: We offer an extensive Fitness Program to residents that includes classes and access to our state-of-the-art fitness center, all with no additional fees or costs.
Life Long Learning Center: Equipped with several computers, two printers, a scanner and Internet access, you can complete any online task or search the web for information. There is a $10 annual fee to access the Life Long Learning Center.

Clairmont Oaks offers two private apartment styles—efficiency and one-bedroom floor plans. Our apartments come standard with the following amenities for comfort and convenience:

Our efficiency apartments offer the perfect amount of space for single adults and are equipped with all our standard features and amenities.

One-Bedroom Apartment

Our one-bedroom apartments are spacious enough for two residents and offer additional privacy with an offset bedroom. These units are equipped with all our standard features and amenities.

Neighborhood

Nestled in the heart of Decatur, Georgia, the surrounding neighborhood is perfect for active senior living. In addition to the wide variety of social, recreational and educational activities on site, you can take advantage of all our lively, diverse community has to offer.

Clairmont Oaks is located close to shopping centers, restaurants, medical services, places of worship, parks and other community activities.
